Zoey Banell is a dedicated dancer, instructor, author and director with a lifelong passion for the art of ballet. Beginning her training at the age of three, she immersed herself in multiple dance genres while developing a strong foundation in classical ballet. Her journey has included training and performance experiences with respected institutions such as Mobile Ballet in Alabama and various studios throughout the southeastern region.

Over the years, Zoey has shared her expertise across numerous studios and programs within the Mobile County Public School System, strengthening dance education in her community. As Ballet Instructor at Bayshore Ballet Academy in Fairhope, Alabama, she has directed and staged full-length productions including The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, and Cinderella, bringing both artistry and leadership to the stage.

Beyond her work in the studio, Zoey is deeply committed to making the performing arts accessible to all. Through teaching, directing, and community-centered initiatives such as Banell Ballet, she works to break down barriers, inspire young dancers, and foster a culture where creativity, confidence, and a love for the arts can flourish.
